International seminar-training on student participation in ensuring the quality of education

As part of the project for 2025–2026, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation are organizing a series of webinars on ensuring the quality of education with the participation of experts from the UK QAA (Quality Assurance Agency).

On December 19, 2025, as part of the 2nd session of this webinar series, a seminar-training on the topic “Student Participation in Ensuring the Quality of Education” was held on the ZOOM platform by the UK QAA expert, Professor Tullio Lobetti.

Representatives of the Institute's Education Quality Control Department, the Registrar's Office, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Press Service, and students actively participated in the seminar-training.

During the session, the concepts of “Quality Code” and “Student Voice” – important mechanisms for ensuring quality in the UK higher education system – were covered in detail. The role of students’ opinions in improving the quality of education was particularly emphasized.

The seminar-training aroused great interest among the audience. The participating students received detailed answers to their questions.
