"Medical literacy is a guarantee of a healthy life"

Under the slogan "Life is a priceless gift", a meeting was organized at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering with the participation of specialists in the field in order to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase medical literacy among young people, and provide accurate and reliable information about HIV infection. The meeting was attended by specialists from the Tashkent AIDS Center - R.M. Yakubov, L. Sultonova and S. Sayfullayeva.

During the event, specialists provided detailed information about the causes of HIV infection, its effects on the body, preventive measures, routes of infection, and misconceptions. Students and young people asked questions of interest to specialists, and interactive discussions on the topic were held.

In the practical part of the event, a blood test for HIV infection was conducted for all faculty members, staff, and students. The results of the examination were announced on the spot, and an individual approach was provided to each participant.

Such events are not only medical prevention, but also an important step towards a healthy society. They form in students a sense of responsibility for disease prevention, social activity, and a conscious approach to health.
