A new stage of cooperation between TKTI and OKMK was discussed

On September 10, 2025, a meeting was held between the management members and professors and teachers of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the management and officials of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine.

The meeting discussed issues of further accelerating the integration of industry and science, finding innovative solutions to problems encountered in existing production processes, and training highly qualified personnel.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department of Doctoral Studies and Scientific Research A.B. Komilov, Head of the Career Center A.M. Mirkomilov, Head of the Information and Resource Center R.A. Onarova, Head of the Department of Automation and Digital Control K. Usmanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation and Digital Control Z.S. Turaqulov, Associate Professor of the Department of Silicate and Rare and Rare Metals Technology O.E. Abdurakhmonov.

The presentations were mainly aimed at the activities of OKMK, and information was provided on the existing scientific laboratory capabilities of the institute, areas of cooperation in the field of nanotechnology, TKTI's experience in digitizing the information resource center, targeted training in industrial automation, and the possibility of organizing advanced training courses for plant employees. Both sides agreed on plans for cooperation in the near future.
