A meeting was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology as part of the "Fire Safety and Emergency Situations" month.
On April 14, 2025, a special meeting on fire safety and emergency situations was held with the participation of employees and students of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering as part of the Emergency Situations and Civil Protection Month. The event was attended by Colonel B.B. Alimov, Inspector of the Research Institute of Emergency Situations and Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Senior Lieutenant Z.F. Nigmatullayev, Head of the Emergency Situations Department of Mirzo Ulugbek District.
The meeting considered the current problems of ensuring fire safety and emergency situations, including fire prevention, increasing earthquake preparedness, and ensuring seismic safety. In their report, the specialists of the Fire Department paid special attention to the preparation of the population and the institute's staff for emergency situations through laws, resolutions and training seminars.
They also emphasized the importance of using electronic platforms to strengthen preparedness for earthquakes and other emergencies for students and staff during the training process, as well as active participation in events such as "Open Doors Day". All participants at the meeting expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation in the field of emergency protection and security.
The institute's staff decided to continue all activities aimed at increasing fire safety and emergency preparedness through this event and further strengthen the safety culture among students and staff.
