Scientists from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology are conducting scientific research in China
Professors, teachers and doctoral students of the Department of “Food and Perfumery and Cosmetics Products Technology” under the Faculty of “Food and Wine Technology” of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology are on a scientific trip to the prestigious scientific institution of the People's Republic of China — Jiangnan University (Food Science and Engineering Laboratory).
This visit was organized within the framework of the “Uzbekistan-China” international joint grant, which is being implemented to strengthen international scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.
The topic of the scientific project: “Research on the main technologies for the production of special oils rich in diglycerides with reduced saturated fatty acids for the food industry”. This project is aimed at reducing the content of trans fats and saturated fatty acids in food products and creating new generation functional oil compositions that meet the requirements of healthy nutrition. The research is expected to result in the development of oils rich in diglycerides and with improved technological and biological properties.
Currently, members of the scientific team are actively conducting experimental and testing work in advanced laboratories of Jiangnan University.
This collaborative initiative serves as an important step towards further developing scientific relations between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Jiangnan University, as well as expanding opportunities for young scientists to gain international experience.
