The delegation of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology is participating in a symposium in China on the topic "Development of saline-alkaline soils and the use of salt-tolerant plants".

The event was attended by a delegation of the institute consisting of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, Doctor of Technical Sciences Dilshod Karabayev, and Professor of the Department of Biotechnology Nortoji Khojamshukurov. This participation will serve to further strengthen scientific cooperation and innovative solutions.

An important initiative is being put forward within the framework of scientific and innovative cooperation between Uzbekistan and China (Shandong) in cooperation with Qilu University of Technology and Shandong Academy of Sciences.

Special attention is paid to the development of salt-tolerant plants in order to support green ecological development.

In this regard, an international seminar and symposium will be organized on the topic "Development and use of salt-tolerant plants in saline and alkaline soils".

The main theme of the event is "The role of salt-tolerant plants in the effective use of saline-alkali lands and ensuring ecological stability in China (Shandong) - Uzbekistan cooperation".

This initiative serves as an important step towards strengthening scientific and technological ties between the two countries, as well as promoting environmental sustainability and modern approaches in agriculture.
