International scientific and technical conference started at Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology

Today, on October 16, 2025, the international scientific and technical conference on the topic “Systematic thinking in finding solutions in engineering technologies” began its work at Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

This prestigious scientific event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Turon Academy of Sciences, and leading foreign scientific centers.

The organizers include such universities as the D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology in Russia, Obuda University in Hungary, Cantabria University in Spain, M.M. Auezov Southern Research University in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz State Technical University, Slovak University of Technology, as well as Samarkand International University of Technology.

The opening of the conference was attended by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzkimyosanoat JSC, industrial enterprises, TKTI leadership, foreign guests and young scientists.

At the opening ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations of the Tashkent Chemical and Technological Institute Babakhanova Zebo Abdullayevna read out a speech by the rector of our institute, Professor Usmonov Botir Shukurillaevich, in which it was noted that international scientific cooperation is reaching a new level, and the concept of systematic thinking in engineering plays an important role in the development of science today.

As part of the program:

Cooperation agreements were signed between TKTI and foreign partners;

A number of foreign scientists were awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of TKTI";

An exhibition of the institute's research results, developments of industrial partners and poster presentations was opened.

Systems thinking - towards innovative solutions in engineering

On the first day of the international scientific and technical conference, renowned scientists, industry experts and professors from different countries presented their scientific reports on current issues in the fields of engineering and technology.

Among them, the speeches of such scientists as Academician Omon Kadyrov (Uzbekistan), Professor Abdurashid Khasanov (“Almalyk KMK” JSC), Dr. Muhammad Riza Bahrami (Iran), Professor Iman Sarani (China, Tsinghua University), Dr. Jimbo Henri Claver (Cameroon) and Professor Inna Makarova (Russia) were heard.

During the lectures, topics such as automation of production safety, technology for separating precious metals from waste, digitalization of engineering education, increasing energy efficiency based on machine learning, and the introduction of automated control systems in the food industry were discussed in detail.

Participants discussed in detail the practical importance of the concept of systems thinking in engineering, the socio-economic benefits of introducing digital technologies in production processes.

At the end of the event, new initiatives were put forward to expand cooperation with foreign universities and research centers, develop joint scientific projects and innovative research.

This session of the conference created a solid foundation for promoting new ideas in the field of engineering, deepening international experience exchange, and future technological cooperation.

Participants of the international scientific and technical conference were awarded

At the end of the international scientific and technical conference "Systematic thinking in finding solutions in engineering technologies" held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, the participants were awarded certificates and diplomas.

More than 20 scientists, industry specialists and young researchers from more than 10 countries presented their scientific developments at the two-day conference. The best speakers who actively participated in the branch meetings, poster presentations and scientific discussions were recognized by the organizers.

The closing ceremony included a commemorative photo session, warm conversations with foreign guests and an exchange of views on the prospects of cooperation.

This conference brought international cooperation to a new level for the scientific team of the TKTI and created a solid foundation for future joint projects, joint programs and scientific research.

Scientific dialogue - in a friendly atmosphere

Within the framework of the international scientific and technical conference "Systematic thinking in finding solutions in engineering technologies", which is being held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, favorable conditions were created for participants.

Between plenary sessions and sub-sessions, a coffee break was organized for guests, and scientific dialogue continued in an informal atmosphere. During this time, scientists exchanged experiences and discussed new areas of cooperation.

Also, in accordance with the conference program, a lunch was scheduled, during which foreign and local participants had the opportunity to exchange views and discuss practical aspects of international scientific cooperation.

The coffee break and lunch served to strengthen friendly communication, a warm atmosphere, and cultural ties among the guests.

Scientific branches: at the center of innovative approaches and new ideas

The second part of the international scientific and technical conference continued within the framework of branch meetings organized at the institute.

The participants discussed the results of research conducted in the areas of chemical and oil and gas industry, food systems and biotechnology, industrial engineering and management, sustainable development and green energy.

Foreign and domestic scientists - Venera Karimova (Russia, MGIMO), Narges Samanian (Uzbekistan, TKTI), Antonio Marcomini (Italy, Ca' Foscari University), Levdansky Alexander (Belarus), Kim Svetlana (Korea), Aziza Maksudova (TKTI), Ulugbek Muinov (TKTI) and other researchers - presented their scientific developments at the sessions.

The lectures discussed the application of artificial intelligence in food microbiology, modern approaches to environmental problems, energy-saving technologies, advanced scientific results in the digitalization of production processes and modeling of technical systems.

The event also featured poster presentations prepared by young scientists and students. Among them, developments on the automation of technological processes, waste-free production, and sustainable development aroused great interest.
