1On 15.01.2026, environmental campaigns and promotional events were organized at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology under the slogan “We will turn the neighborhood into a waste-free area.”

The purpose of the event: To increase environmental culture among the residents of the neighborhood, To strengthen responsibility for keeping the environment clean, To involve young people and the population in collective hashar work.

The event was attended by professors and teachers of the institute's "Industrial Ecology and 'Green' Technologies" department, active students and young people, and eco-volunteers.

During the ecological hashar, a number of practical works were carried out in the neighborhood areas adjacent to the institute. In particular, sidewalks, playgrounds, and ditches were cleaned of garbage in the areas, accumulated household waste was collected and taken to designated garbage disposal sites. Also, garbage cans were cleaned and transferred to specially designated areas. Public awareness campaigns were carried out among the population on environmental protection, proper waste management, and keeping the areas clean.

The purpose of this ecological event is to ensure environmental cleanliness, form an ecological culture in the minds of young people, strengthen a responsible attitude to nature, and foster collective solidarity.
