A seminar-training on the topic "Inclusive Education and Media Literacy" was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

On January 14, 2026, a seminar-training on the topic "Inclusive Education and Media Literacy" was held at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology on the initiative of the "Inclusive Media Club".

The seminar was attended by the Institute's Advisor on Women's Issues, Chairperson of the Women's Council, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences G.Sh. Aripova, the Rector's Advisor on Information Policy - Press Secretary E.M. Abdulboqiyev, the Leader of the Primary Organization of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the Rector's Advisor on Youth Issues M.I. Boriyev, the Deputy Dean for Youth Work of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology B.Sh. Poyanov, tutors and members of the Inclusive Media Club.

The Institute's Advisor on Women's Issues G.Sh. Aripova expressed her opinion on the role of inclusive education in society, the creation of equal conditions for women and young people with disabilities, and the support of their social activity.

The Rector's Advisor on Information Policy - Press Secretary E.M. Abdulboqiyev emphasized the need to develop media literacy, a responsible approach to the information space, and the skills of protection against fake news and misinformation.

The Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies B.Sh. Poyanov spoke about the importance of students' activity in the educational process, media literacy, cooperation with tutors, a practical approach and experience in working in an inclusive environment.

The leader of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan TKTI, the Rector's Advisor on Youth Issues M.I. Buriev focused on supporting youth initiatives, actively involving students in social life through inclusive media clubs, and developing leadership skills. At the end of the seminar-training, tutors and members of the inclusive media club expressed their opinions and suggestions on the topic and exchanged views on future initiatives.
