In recent years, within the framework of projects implemented with the funds of the Islamic Development Bank and the World Bank, educational and scientific laboratory equipment such as "Ecology", "Heat Engineering and Thermodynamics", "Life Safety and Labor Protection", "Technology of Primary Processing and Storage of Agricultural Products", "Hydraulics" with a total value of 19.7 billion soums, as well as a unique "Transmission Electron Microscope", the only one in Central Asia, worth a total of 1.139 million euros, are being used to conduct training and scientific research.

An agreement was reached to invest a total of 1.2 million US dollars in order to establish a joint experimental and testing center in the territory of the Inno Technopark being created in the Jizzakh region in cooperation with TKTI and Obuda University (Hungary).

A "Spin-off" enterprise in food technology is also operating at the Institute.

In addition, branches of 10 specialized departments of the institute have been established at manufacturing enterprises, and students are trained on the basis of "dual education".
