On January 29, 2025, the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Usmanov Botir Shukurillayevich, received the founder of the Azerbaijani Caspian Capital Group, Poshayev Elkhan Pasha oglu. At this meeting, bilateral cooperation was discussed.
In particular, wine production will be established on the basis of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology under the auspices of the Azerbaijani Caspian Capital Group. Also, a dual education system in the form of 3 + 1 education will be introduced for students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology at the Khovrenko Samarkand Wine Combine Joint Stock Company.
It is planned to introduce products manufactured in the field of winemaking and viticulture in accordance with the requirements of new standards (GOST, ISO), train personnel, and conduct negotiations with the Agency for Technical Regulation of Uzbekistan under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Forums and master classes will also be organized for specialists in the field.
In cooperation with the Caspian Capital Group company Naiqin Co "Tovuz-Baltiya" MMC.BAS, the Khovrenko Wine Academy will be established, where employees of production enterprises will be trained and certified. It is also planned to conduct scientific research on the creation of new wine grape varieties in Uzbekistan in cooperation with an Azerbaijani company.
A pre-graduation internship will be organized for 4th-year students of the winemaking technology department of the TKTI at the Khovrenko Samarkand Wine Combine, and the issue of organizing a dormitory at the plant is being considered. Agreements were reached on sending students for a paid short-term internship at the Tovuz cognac production enterprise in Azerbaijan and sending professors and teachers of the Enology Department for internships at the expense of Caspian Capital Group. In addition, it was agreed to establish the Khovrenko Wine Academy at our institute.
The issues of organizing wine tourism at the Khovrenko plant and promoting it to the general public in order to revive historical winemaking traditions were also discussed. This cooperation will serve to deepen the relationship between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the Caspian Capital Group in the future and further develop the winemaking industry.
