 During the meeting, rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, gave information about the achievements of the institute's team, the activities of the branches, developing personnel, professors and teachers, partner universities. Also, the cooperation between our institute and the Shandong Academy of Sciences has a history of more than 10 years, and it was agreed that through joint efforts, the scientific and technological potential of both Shandong region and Uzbekistan will be further improved.

 As part of this cooperation, in 2018, a China-Uzbekistan joint laboratory for the technology of automation of modified asphalt production was established at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, and in 2020-2022, China-Uzbekistan intergovernmental scientific and technical cooperation project and technological cooperation have been implemented.

 As a result of the cooperation, Shandong Academy of Sciences and several other universities of Uzbekistan gathered today for the opening ceremony of the China-Central Asia Smart Agricultural Technology Alliance, which will strengthen the position of universities and research institutes of both sides. It was agreed to cooperate and contribute to the development of smart agricultural technologies and the integrated use of the saline-alkaline lands of the Aral Sea, to support the establishment of demonstration zones of smart agriculture on the basis of the recently established Alliance.

 Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology provides services for the transformation of technological achievements of the Alliance by creating an exchange and cooperation platform for the Alliance, building smart agriculture demonstration rooms, seminars, trainings for the development of technical cooperation and agricultural trade. and other events. The establishment of the alliance will strengthen technical exchange and cooperation between Shandong and Uzbekistan in the field of agricultural technologies, management of saline and alkaline soils of the Aral Sea, and it was also agreed to help the two countries jointly develop agriculture. .
