On February 12-13, 2025, the III International Forum "WOMEN IN STEM" will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, "Uzkimyosanoat" Joint-Stock Company, the Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Family and Women, the Research Institute of Family and Gender, the Center for Women Inventors of Uzbekistan, Integral University (India), and Neofit Rilski South-West University (Bulgaria).
Today, expanding the participation of women in science and technology is seen as a global problem all over the world. In 2015, the UN declared February 11 as the "Day of Women and Girls in Science", and as part of the celebration of this date, the "Women in STEM" forum is regularly held.
This forum will bring together leading scientists, researchers, and experts from Uzbekistan and abroad to promote the involvement of women in STEM fields. The event will feature scientific presentations, master classes by international experts, practical seminars, and motivational speeches.
The opening ceremony of the forum began with a "Laser Show" for the participants.
The International Forum was opened by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Usmanov Botir Shukurillaevich, with an introductory speech and a greeting to all participants.
After that, a video was shown about women scientists who have achieved high achievements in the field of chemical technology worldwide, as well as female professors, teachers and students of our institute who are on the path to becoming scientists.
The Head of the UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, Sara Noshadi, Rector of the South-West Neofit Rilski University, Professor (Bulgaria) Nikolay Marin, Deputy Director of the "Family and Gender" Research Institute under the Republican Committee for Family and Women, Leader of the Republican "Smart Women" Movement, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Musurmanova Oynisa Musurmanovna, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of "Uzkimyosanoat" JSC, Abdurakhmanova Sanobar Makhammadaminovna, spoke and wished success in the future activities of the III International Forum "WOMEN IN STEM". It is worth noting that the main goal of the "Women in STEM" international scientific forum taking place in Uzbekistan is to demonstrate the important place of women working in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in society, to further improve the "Teacher-Schogird" system, and to support them. It also aims to ensure diversity and transparency in these fields, and to identify and address barriers faced by women in STEM. The forum will feature panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and scientific presentation sessions presented by women scientists from the region. The goal of the forum is to inspire and support the next generation of women scientists and engineers in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
Artistic performances reflecting our nationality made a special impression on foreign guests.
Musical performances combining national culture and science, presentations of national costumes, laboratory exercises, and lively discussions were also organized within the framework of the forum, and stage performances reflecting our nationality made a special impression on visiting foreign guests.
During the break during the International Forum, a coffee break was organized with functional dishes prepared by the team of the Faculty of Food Technology and the professors and teachers of the responsible department.
In the second part of the festival, visitors took part in presentations within the framework of the International Forum.

At the end of the forum, the guests of honor were presented with statuettes, souvenirs, and certificates from Uzkimyosanoat JSC and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
