Issues of cooperation with technical schools were discussed at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology

As is known, on October 16, 2024, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-158 “On measures to further improve the system of training qualified personnel in vocational education and introduce international educational programs” was adopted. In order to ensure the implementation of this Decree and implement the tasks set out in the order of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology dated November 8, 2024, a meeting was held on December 2, 2024 with the leadership of technical schools attached to the institute.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology T. T. Safarov, deans of the faculties, including U. N. Baltabayev, Sh. Q. Jalilov, L. A. Yusupova, Sh. B. Bukhorov, as well as the head of AFTEB F. I. Khudoyberdiev, and the heads of technical schools attached to the institute.

Khusuan, Director of the Yangiyul Agrotechnological Technical School M. R. Fazilova, Deputy Directors for Academic Affairs of the Lower Chirchik District Polytechnic No. 2, the Angren Technological Technical School and the Yangiyul City Polytechnic No. 1 also participated.

The following main issues were considered during the meeting:

1. The reforms that need to be implemented in vocational education were explained.

2. Issues of improving the quality of education and developing roadmaps were identified.

3. An agreement was reached on strengthening cooperation with employers in preparing students for the labor market.

During the meeting, a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at improving the educational processes of technical schools, improving the quality of personnel training and strengthening their material and technical base were discussed.

- Involvement of TKTI professors and teachers in technical schools.

- Organization of "open doors" events and "master classes" in technical schools.

- Introduction of 4th and 5th level directions starting from the 2025/2026 academic year.

- Providing technical schools with modern equipment and expanding the capabilities of the electronic library.

- Developing methodological manuals.

At the meeting, a number of tasks were given to improve the activities of technical schools.

Accordingly, the technical schools attached to the TKTI were distributed to the relevant faculties. In particular,

- Angren Technological Technical School - to the Faculty of Chemical Engineering.

- Yangiyul Agro-Technological Technical School - to the Faculty of Food and Winemaking Technologies.

- Polytechnic School No. 2 of the Lower Chirchik District - to the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies.

- Yangiyul City Polytechnic School No. 1 - to the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management.

In addition, it was noted that roadmaps for the development of the activities of each technical school should be developed and the deadlines for the implementation of measures, responsible executors and sources of financing should be clearly defined.

These initiatives will help technical schools become innovative centers that meet the requirements of modern education.
