On May 3, 2025, the intern-teacher of the Department of Engineering Fundamentals and Mechanics, Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Khalilov Shuhat Uralovich, held an open lesson on the topic "Calculation and design of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger." During the lesson, students were given detailed explanations about the principles of operation of heat exchangers, their design and important calculation methods. During the open lesson, students asked the teacher questions of interest to them and received their answers. This process created a more effective learning environment for students and helped them understand the topic more deeply. The interactive nature of the open lesson encouraged active discussions between professors and teachers and students, which contributed to making the learning process more lively and effective. Students strengthened their knowledge on the topic and acquired the necessary skills to use this knowledge in their future practical work.

The lesson served to increase the effectiveness of the learning process and further enhanced the scientific interest of students.
