On May 7, 2025, Professor D.A. Khandamov, a lecturer at the Department of "Basic Organic Synthesis" of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, and doctoral and master's students of the department visited the "Salar wastewater treatment plant" belonging to the "Tashkent City Water Supply" JSC.

As part of this visit, employees and students of our institute got acquainted with the Salar wastewater treatment plant. During the visit, they were introduced to the processes of sewage water treatment from the city and its modern laboratory by a leading specialist of the enterprise. The current advantages of water treatment processes and shortcomings in this process were introduced, and cooperation to eliminate these shortcomings in the future was emphasized.

Such visits are important for the staff and students of our institute in strengthening their knowledge and skills about how important water is today, how we should not be indifferent to the many factors that damage water, and how our rational use of drinking and wastewater has important practical significance in social life.
