The visit of the delegation of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology to Bulgaria and international cooperation projects were agreed upon.
On June 9, 2025, the Head of the Department of Internationalization and Transformation of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Z. Babakhanova, the Rector's Advisor on Women's Issues G. Aripova, the Head of the Human Resources Department R. Mirsamikova, the Associate Professor of the Department of "Enology and Technology of Wine Products" Kh. Khasanov and the Senior Lecturer P. Sharipov paid an official visit to the Neofit Rilski South-West University in the Republic of Bulgaria.
During the visit, they met with the Rector of the Neofit Rilski University Nikolay Marin and the Director of the Directorate of Scientific and Educational Programs Ivanka Tsankova. During the meeting, two major international projects implemented between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Neofit Rilski University - the joint scientific projects "Master's Degree in Integration of Innovative STEM Strategies in Higher Education" within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA220-HED program and "Development of an Efficient Compact Module for Filter Water" funded by a Bulgarian university - were discussed. The projects aim to introduce advanced approaches in higher education, effectively use water resources, and integrate education and scientific activities.
The goals and objectives of the ongoing international projects, their implementation stages, and promising results were exchanged. This visit was an important step in strengthening scientific, educational, and innovative ties between higher education institutions of the two countries.
The visit to Bulgaria will last until June 14.

Under the coordination of Neofit Rilski South-West University, within the framework of the Erasmus+ "Cooperation in Higher Education KA220-HED" program of the European Union, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology is participating as a partner organization in the international project "Master's Degree in Integration of Innovative STEM Strategies in Higher Education".
In 2023-2025, TKTI professors and teachers participated in a scientific conference at Neofit Rilski South-West University in Bulgaria. 10 professors and teachers from Bulgarian universities underwent internships at TKTI, 6 professors and teachers participated in the International "Women in STEM" forum jointly organized on February 12-13, 2025, and training sessions were organized for TKTI students.
On February 11, 2025, a delegation led by Nikolay Marin, Rector of Neofit Rilski South-West University in Bulgaria, visited TKTI During the visit, the prospects for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research were discussed with the rector of the institute B.Usmanov. In particular, special attention was paid to the development of joint scientific projects and academic exchange programs, the establishment of student and faculty exchanges, the introduction of advanced technologies into the educational process, and the development of STEM education. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.
Currently, a joint scientific project "Development of an efficient "Compact module for filter water" is being implemented jointly, funded by a Bulgarian university.
On June 8-15, 2025, 3 employees of TKTI will participate in the scientific conference "11th International Conference in Modern trends in science, FMNS-2025" at the South-West Neofit Rilski University in Bulgaria, 2 employees will make a practical visit within the framework of a scientific project, and 14 TKTI students will organize technological internships in Bulgaria.
