On January 15, 2024, the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology was visited by the Director General of the Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jumanazarov Akmal Ruzikulovich, representatives of the agency. As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
It was attended by the Director General of the Agency for Technical Regulation, Jumanazarov Akmal Ruzikulovich, Advisor to the Director on Scientific Research and Innovations Mamadaliyeva Naibakhon Saydaminovna, Director of the National Institute of Metrology of Uzbekistan Saidoripov Lazizbek Furqatjonovich, Director of the UzTEST Center for Scientific Testing and Quality Control of Uzbekistan Kattakhodjayev Javlon Yuldashkhodjayev, Director of the Institute of Standards of Uzbekistan Qodirov Doniyor Bakhtiyarovich.
The Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology was attended by Rector Usmonov Botir Shukurillayevich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Safarov Toyir Tursunovich, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovations Pulatov Khairulla Lutpullayevich, Dean of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology Baltabayev Ulugbek Norboyevich, Head of the Department of Food Quality and Safety Sanayev Ermat Shermatovich, and other officials.
The meeting was devoted to the issues of training personnel in the fields of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and certification. This meeting was organized in accordance with the important instructions given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in this area. On February 26, 2024, our President set specific tasks for reforming the technical regulation system, attracting foreign consultants to the sector, and training specialists in accordance with international standards. Also, on June 20, 2024, at a meeting dedicated to the issues of training personnel in engineering and improving the higher education system, instructions were given on opening departments at partner enterprises in universities and introducing a dual education system. At the meeting, representatives of the Agency and the university leadership exchanged views on the implementation of the priority areas set by the President. In particular, the following issues were discussed: adapting technical education to international standards, developing a dual education system to improve students' practical skills, integrating the unified electronic information system "Technical Regulation" into the personnel training process, and establishing new departments at partner enterprises.
During the meeting, the visitors got acquainted with the activities of the Spin-OFF laboratory established at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
This meeting was an important step in implementing the President's instructions and bringing technical education to a new level. The Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology will continue to make its contribution in this direction.
