On July 25, a meeting dedicated to the prevention of corruption was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation with the participation of heads of higher education institutions, internal control departments and territorial divisions.

Minister Kungirotboy Sharipov stressed the need to increase transparency in the system, prevent conflicts of interest, and strengthen internal control.

Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Akmal Burkhonov and Chairman of the Senate Committee Abdulhakim Eshmurodov expressed their views on the risks in the system, their elimination, and improvement of legislation.

At the meeting, priority tasks for the prevention of corruption were identified and it was noted that their implementation will be strictly monitored.
