Stepping into a new phase of international cooperation

On December 3, 2024, the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology received a delegation from the prestigious Shandong Jianshu University of the People's Republic of China.

As part of this visit, an important meeting was held between the two higher education institutions on the development of international cooperation and the implementation of new scientific and innovative projects.

The delegation of Shandong Jianshu University was headed by General Director Yang Jingbo, and the delegation included Liu Qingfeng, Director of the General Administration of the university, Wang Shuha, Director of the Social Sciences Research Department, Fan Qian, Secretary of the School of Civil Engineering, and Lia Xiao, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department.

The Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology was represented by the rector of the institute Usmonov Botir Shukurullayevich, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations Pulatov Khairulla Lutpullayevich, head of the Department of Enterprises and Industrial Sectors Shernayev Anvar Normamatovich, head of the Department of Internationalization and Transformation Babakhanova Zabo Abdullayevna, head of the Department of "Biotechnology" Normatov Anvar Mirzaevich, and professor of the Department of "Biotechnology" Nortoji Khojamshukurov.

During the conversation, topical issues such as expanding scientific ties between universities were discussed, including:

- student and faculty exchange programs;

- organization of joint educational programs at the master's and doctoral levels;

- joint implementation of scientific research and innovative projects;

- joint research to solve modern problems in the social and technical spheres.

At the end of the meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Shandong Jianshu University was successfully signed in an updated form.

This memorandum marked a new stage in cooperation between the two universities and laid a solid foundation for future joint projects.

Such international relations, while contributing to the globalization of the education system, are of great importance in the development of innovative technologies and the training of highly qualified personnel.
