Active participation of representatives of our institute in the international symposium!

On April 22-26, 2025, an international symposium titled "Applied research and academic cooperation between universities of the European Union and Central Asia: successful experiences and achievements towards a sustainable future" organized by GIZ (German International Cooperation) is being held in Istanbul.

Representatives of universities of Latvia, Lithuania and Slovakia from the European Union, and representatives of universities of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan from Central Asia are participating in this prestigious event.

Professor of the Department of Food and Perfumery and Cosmetics Technology from our institute, Prof. G.Z. Djahangirova delivered a lecture on the topics “Development of curricula for sustainable education of teachers in food technologies in Central Asia and training new specialists in the region” and “Technology for the production of ‘Gluten Free’ breadsticks (grissini) based on local plant raw materials”.

These lectures highlighted the importance of improving the skills of teachers, developing modern curricula, and cooperation with European universities and joint education (Double degree) programs in this area.

In addition, the head of the Department of Doctoral Studies and Scientific Research of the institute, A.B. Kamolov, participated in a lecture on the topic “Financial sustainability of scientific projects and their financing: practical examples from partners in Central Asia - on the example of TKTI”. During the presentation, the experience of our institute in sustainable development projects and financial mechanisms was shared.
