Educational and promotional work was carried out in schools in the city of Khujand
In accordance with the order of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology No. 1/56 dated May 28, 2025, on May 30, 2025, the second business trip of the delegation consisting of the institute team to the Institute of Industry and Service located in the city of Khujand, Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan was organized. The delegation was headed by D.P. Rakhimov, associate professor of the Department of Food and Perfumery and Cosmetics Technology. The trip was also attended by G.A. Nazarov, associate professor of the Department of Biotechnology, Sh.K. Tukhtaev, associate professor of the Department of Food Safety and Quality, and A.N. Malikov, associate professor of the Department of Enology and Technology of Wine Products.
The main purpose of the visit was to establish a branch of the Faculty of Food and Winemaking Technologies within the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology in the building of the Institute of Industry and Service in Khujand, as well as to provide school graduates with detailed information about the activities of the branch, educational areas and opportunities being created.
Educational and promotional activities were organized in the following schools:
• Secondary schools No. 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, 21;
• Gymnasiums No. 1 and 2.
During the promotional meetings, Associate Professor D.P. Rakhimov provided detailed information about innovative approaches in the field of food technology, modern laboratories, internship programs organized in collaboration with large enterprises, as well as opportunities provided through international exchange, "Erasmus +" and other programs.
Also, Associate Professor Sh.K. Tukhtaev provided explanations about innovations in the areas of food safety, meat and dairy technology, children's nutrition and functional nutrition, practice bases and startup programs created for students.
At these events, Associate Professor A.N. Malikov invited school graduates to study alcohol, beer, wine and confectionery technology and continue their studies at the Faculty of Food and Winemaking Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
G.A. Nazarov, Associate Professor of the Department of Biotechnology at the Khujand State University, shared scientific information on the specializations of the Department of Biotechnology of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and the equipment of its laboratories with modern equipment for the production of biologically active substances produced in the current period for the enrichment of food products, as well as the laboratory and training organized by the Department of Biotechnology in collaboration with the Integral University in Delhi, India, and invited school graduates to study at the Institute of Industry and Service in the free economic zone and the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.
By the afternoon of the day, a total of 430 graduates were met in 8 schools in Khujand, and detailed promotional work was carried out on their admission to the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, as well as the Institute of Industry and Service located in the free economic zone of Khujand.
At the end of the business trip, associate professors from the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology conducted master classes for students of the Institute of Industry and Service. In return for their activities, they were awarded 18-hour special certificates.
