A roundtable discussion was held as part of the “Let’s Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women” advocacy week

From November 25 to December 10, 2025, under the initiative of the UN, large-scale advocacy events are being held in our country as part of the global campaign “Let’s Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women”.

This important initiative is also consistently supported at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, and educational meetings are being organized in various areas.

On November 28, a special roundtable discussion was held at the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies as part of this week.

The event was attended by the Advisor to the Rector of the TKTI on Women's Issues G.Sh. Aripova, a master's student at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Shaykhontohur district, Lieutenant Colonel Nazarov Davlat Qakhramanovich, Senior Inspector of Prevention of the TKTI Lieutenant Colonel Jumanov Aziz Nizomovich, Assistant Dean of the Department of Internal Affairs B.Sh. Poyonov, Advisor to the Dean for the Department of Gender Equality M.I. Aliyeva, and faculty tutors.

During the conversation, the issues of preventing digital violence against women, mechanisms for combating it, legal responsibilities, and ensuring the safety of young people in the digital space were discussed.

The participants emphasized the need to strengthen joint efforts to create a digital environment that creates safe, healthy, and equal opportunities for all women.

At the end of the event, a special film on the topic of combating violence was shown to students and youth.
