On June 2-7, 2025, the International Week was held at the University of Cantabria within the framework of the International Credit Mobility project of the European Union Erasmus+ program.

The event was attended by B.B. Kadyrov, Vice-Rector for Economic and Organizational Issues of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Kh.L. Pulatov, Professor of the Department of Industrial Ecology, and S.S. Saidakhmadov, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Protocol.

The International Week was opened by the Rector of the University of Cantabria, Professor López Fernandez. At the meeting, organized in the form of an open dialogue, the parties exchanged views on the existing cooperation between the two higher education institutions and future plans. It was noted that dozens of professors, teachers and students have been exchanged on the basis of academic mobility, and two doctoral students of our institute successfully defended their PhD degrees under the Cotutelle program.

During the program, the best practices of the University of Cantabria in cooperation with leading universities around the world were studied. The delegation members actively participated in the following seminars and trainings:

“Teaching support services at the University of Cantabria”

“Expanding research and teaching opportunities through ChatGPT and artificial intelligence tools”

“Innovative perspectives of teaching for the modern world”

At the end of the meeting, agreements were reached with the University of Cantabria to expand cooperation in the fields of education and research in the areas of “Management” and “Ecology”. The university library and modern laboratory centers were also visited.

Such visits are of great importance in further strengthening the international relations of our institute and studying best practices and approaches.
