Based on the order of the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology No. 2/15 dated February 19, 2025, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology T.T. Safarov and the Head of the Department of Enterprises and Industrial Sectors A.N. Shernayev paid a business trip to the Tajik Private Institute of Production and Service, established in the Sogd FEZ in the Sogd region of the Republic of Tajikistan, on February 24-25, 2025.
The main purpose of the business trip is to establish a branch of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology in cooperation with the Tajik Production and Service Institute.
Taking into account the fact that the population of the Khujand and Asht districts of the Sogd region is mainly of Uzbek origin, it is advisable to establish a branch of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technology of the TKTI in these two districts. Because more than 10 manufacturing enterprises operate in the free economic zone in this region, and they are in dire need of young people with modern knowledge. On the first day of the trip, they got acquainted with the educational and scientific laboratories of the partner institute, prepared regulatory documents on the organization of a branch of the faculty, and discussed the selection of educational areas and master's degrees.

On the 2nd day of the trip, we went to Asht region and participated in the council of Asht district khokimiyat representatives and school directors. A presentation was made on the potential, educational and scientific opportunities and areas of education of our institute, and organizational issues such as the application for the necessary production enterprises for the establishment of a faculty branch, curriculum, contract, allocation and equipment of the building, formation of the material and technical base and sending a letter of appeal to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation were discussed.
