As you know, from November 15 to December 15 of this year, a number of events are being held within the framework of the “Fire Safety Month” declared in our republic. In this regard, a special tactical training session was organized on November 28 at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology.

At this event, the head of the Fire and Rescue Unit No. 14 of the Shaykhontohur District Emergency Department, Major Sh.Sh. Shonazarov, and the inspector of the department, Senior Lieutenant Kh.S. Saidaliyev gave important recommendations on fire safety to students. The event was actively attended by the acting head of the Department of Labor Protection R.G.Azizov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Food and Wine Technologies Sh.E.Begmatov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies J.T.Siddikov, tutors, students and other responsible persons.

During the meeting, experts discussed in detail the causes of fires and methods of preventing them, the rules of safe movement during a fire, as well as the issues of preparing for fire extinguishing. The importance of ensuring effective cooperation between state bodies, the public and the population on fire prevention was emphasized.

Also, during the event, the participants were shown the capabilities of fire-rescue vehicles, modern fire extinguishing equipment and their operating procedures. During the special tactical training exercise, a simulated fire was staged and actions to extinguish a primary fire were demonstrated in practice.

The event is an important step towards increasing fire safety culture, strengthening public awareness, and strengthening emergency preparedness.
