A PROMOTIONAL AND PROMOTIONAL EVENT WAS HELD WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE "FIRE SAFETY MONTH"

On December 12 of this year, at the Faculty of Oil and Gas Technologies of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, a planned promotional and promotional event was organized within the framework of the "Fire Safety Month" in order to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, gas-air mixture flashover, and fire-related emergencies among the population.

At the event, representatives of the territorial department of the Emergency Situations Department provided detailed explanations on:

the correct and safe use of gas equipment;

ensuring the proper condition of gas equipment;

effective use of ventilation systems;

not to use faulty and arbitrarily installed gas equipment.

Also, the main causes of carbon monoxide poisoning and gas-air mixture explosions, their serious consequences, the correct procedure for emergency situations, how to contact emergency services in the event of a fire, and practical recommendations on compliance with fire safety rules were presented.

At the end of the event, a special video was shown, which reflected the dangers of carbon monoxide, the causes of poisoning with it, and preventive measures.
