The "Editorial-publishing" department was established in December 2005 on the basis of the "Educational-methodical" department of the Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute. Over the past years, the "Editorial-publishing" department has worked under the leadership of ass.prof. I.I.Yunusov, ass.prof.R.A. Khabibullayev, ass.prof., A.I.Ergashev and Sh.A.Jalilov.Currently, the editor G.Kh. Makhkamova is the acting head of the "Editorial and Publishing" Department. The department has 2 editors and 1 proofreader.

In order to ensure the creation ofliteraturemanuscripts in Chapter 6 of the Order No137 in April 6, 2016 of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education "On providing institutions of higher and secondary specialized, vocational education with improved regulatory and methodical documents and modern literatures in accordance with the State educational standards" is to provide with educational literatures prepared on the basis of advanced world experience, methods, technologies and foreign literature in accordance with qualification requirements and curricula.

The Department works in accordance with the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presidential decrees and orders, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, instructions of the Press and Information Agency, the Regulations of the TKTI and the Regulations of the "Editorial-Publishing" Department.

The Department deals with editing textbooks, study guide, educational methodical collections, studying the political-social, scientific-practical aspects of the texts and recommending them for publication prepared by professors of the faculties and departments of Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute.

The main tasks of the department are to work in cooperation with authors to eliminate errors and shortcomings of educational-methodicaland scientific literature, to control the timely publication of educational-methodical and scientific literature recommended for publication. Also, the newspaper "Kimyogar" is prepared for publication in the department.

During each academic year, in order to increase percentage of provision of curriculum subjects with literature, professors and teachers of our institute prepare the new literatures, and publication certificates are brought by MHSEU.
