In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 28, 2012 No. PP-1761 “On measures to further improve the system of training qualified teaching staff and providing them to secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions” and By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 28, 2018 No. PP-3573 “On measures for the radical improvement of the wine industry and the sale of alcoholic beverages”, the “Center for advanced training and retraining of winemaking specialists” (Winemaking Center) was established at the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute. D.O. Turdibaev worked at this Center for the past few years.
Currently, the Winemaking Center is headed by Akmal Khodzhiakbarovich Abdurakhimov, Acting Director.
The Winemaking Center reports directly to the Rector of the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute and operates in collaboration with enterprises and organizations engaged in the processing, production, and sale of alcoholic beverages.
Provide advanced training and retraining courses for specialists in the fields of biotechnology, food safety, food technology, as well as the processing, production, storage, and sale of food and alcoholic beverages, based on a bilateral agreement.
In this regard, the goal of the Center is to improve the quality of education through the use of modern pedagogical and information and communication technologies in the educational process, to improve the qualifications of engineers, technicians and technologists, and to organize educational services, adaptation of knowledge and professional skills of teaching staff to the dynamic development of chemical engineering areas in specific areas (specialties), the introduction of systemic innovations into the educational process, as well as assistance to teaching specialists in mastering new methods and technologies in the relevant areas.
Providing retraining and advanced training for specialists in general and specialized disciplines in relevant areas of higher education and creating a modern methodological, informational, and reference database for these disciplines; implementation of educational programs for the retraining and advanced training of specialists in the alcohol industry, primarily in the field of high and innovative technologies, with the invitation on a contractual basis of foreign specialists, as well as heads of qualified technological universities and large enterprises of the republic; Ensuring effective interaction between education and production, introducing mobile learning and on-site training at enterprises equipped with modern equipment and technologies into the process of retraining and professional development of specialists; creation of the necessary educational and material-technical base for conducting training at the Winemaking Center, including the use of the material-technical base of production, research and design structures; development and implementation of programs that take into account the future development of technology and engineering, including the use of innovative scientific achievements, modern pedagogical and information and communication technologies, distance learning, As well as expanding independent work within the system of retraining and professional development for specialists.
